今年六月底，一名父親疑因照顧自閉症兼智障兒子心力交瘁，手刃兒子後企圖自殺，引起社會對自閉症家庭的關注。自閉症是與生俱來的發展障礙，照顧者日復日，年復年陪伴他們走人生的路。節目裡，三個家庭中有三位不同年紀的自閉症患者：七歲的顥弘要適應主流學校和學習社交技巧，十七歲的家俊正值青春期，情緒起伏不定；廿四歲的銘哲在輪候院舍，而媽媽年紀漸長，未知還能撐多久。由於政府和社區支援不足，照顧者們都唯有咬緊牙關，應付無數難關和壓力，努力地面對困境。 (自閉症 智障 家長壓力 特殊學校 院舍輪候 社區支援 特殊照顧 展能)
